What Is a Licensed Transportation Service?

A licensed transportation service can be a limousine, taxicab, sightseeing carrier, or another type of transportation services provider. Aside from a few exceptions, such companies are required to meet certain requirements and to be licensed by the Department of Motor Vehicles.
