- A $5 fee may be added to each vehicle registration, driver's license and ID card renewal transaction conducted in DMV customer service centers. Avoid the $5 fee by renewing online, through the mail or over the phone (1-888-337-4782) . You may also avoid the $5 fee by renewing your vehicle registration at a DMV Select location.
- Renew your vehicle registration (decals) online and save $1.
- More than 25 other transactions may be conducted online.
- Customers may purchase hunting and fishing licenses, obtain temporary boat registrations, and submit applications for permanent boat titles and registrations at all DMV offices.
Directions:
Take I-64 East to Virginia Beach. Take I-264 East to Virginia Beach. Take exit 17A to S. Independence Blvd./Princess Anne. Stay in either of 2 right hand lanes as road forks about ½ mile ahead. Follow S. Independence Boulevard about 3 miles to Buckner Boulevard. Turn left at gas station at Buckner Boulevard. DMV is on the right directly behind the gas station.
