- A $5 fee may be added to each vehicle registration, driver's license and ID card renewal transaction conducted in DMV customer service centers. Avoid the $5 fee by renewing online, through the mail or over the phone (1-888-337-4782) . You may also avoid the $5 fee by renewing your vehicle registration at a DMV Select location.
- Renew your vehicle registration (decals) online and save $1.
- More than 25 other transactions may be conducted online.
- Motorcycle road tests are not conducted at this Customer Service Center. To take a motorcycle road test please visit the Department of Motor Vehicles, Manassas Customer Service Center at 9800 Godwin Drive, Manassas, VA 20110-4105.
- Customers may purchase hunting and fishing licenses, obtain temporary boat registrations, and submit applications for permanent boat titles and registrations at all DMV offices.
Directions:
From I-95 North: Continue to the Falmouth exit. Take U.S. Route 17 West toward Warrenton. Follow U.S. Route 17 to I-66 (66 exit on left). Continue on I-66 to the 2nd Front Royal exit (522 & 340).
From East: I-66 to Front Royal exit 6 (second Front Royal exit). Turn left onto Route 522 South / Route 340 South.
From West: I-66 to Front Royal exit 6 (first Front Royal exit). Merge right onto Route 522 South/Route 340 South.
Continue on Route 522/Route 340 to the traffic light at the corner of 14th Street and Shenandoah Avenue. Turn left onto 14th Street (also Route 522/Route340 South). Continue to first traffic light. Turn left onto Commerce Avenue(Route 522 by-pass). Continue to third traffic light. Turn right onto Water Street. DMV is located on the left.
