DMV 2 Go Richmond, nicknamed 'Monique' (keeping with the 'Mo' for mobile office naming convention), made its debut in metro-Richmond in April 2012. Monique was formerly a book mobile that was renovated by DMV staff into a full-service customer service center. This handicap-accessible bus is 38-feet long and 10-feet wide. Monique has three customer service work stations, two testing stations and a public kiosk to access other state services through a Virginia Internet portal.
Monique serves Central Virginia; west to Page County; east to Westmoreland County and south to Halifax, Mecklenburg and Brunswick Counties. To view specific jurisdictions in Monique's service area, see the high resolution printable map.

Monique on the Go
Some highlights of Monique's travels in the Richmond area include stops at the McGuire Veterans Hospital, General Assembly building, and Defense Supply Center. Monique's visits also include supplementing services at DMV Selects in Cumberland, James City, King George, Palmyra, Amelia, and Mineral. In addition, Monique has provided services at events such as the Armed Forces Day Veterans Resource Village, Jackson Ward National Night Out, Richmond Wheelchair Games, and Virginia Outdoor Sportsman Show.
