Chesterfield to end DMV Select Service at Administration Building
Customers Encouraged to Conduct Transactions Online or at Other Service Outlets
RICHMOND - The Chesterfield DMV Select, operated by the Treasurer and Commissioner of the Revenue's offices, will discontinue offering DMV services effective June 30, 2014.
Customers needing to conduct DMV business can do so online at www.dmvNOW.com or visit a nearby DMV customer service center (CSC). The Chester CSC is located at 12100 Branders Creek Drive, just 2.5 miles from the Chesterfield DMV Select. The Chesterfield CSC is located at 610 Johnston Willis Drive. Office hours are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
"We appreciate the service that the Commissioner of the Revenue and Treasurer have provided to the community and the Commonwealth for the past seven years," said DMV Commissioner Richard D. Holcomb.
DMV contracts with private citizens and local governments to conduct vehicle-related transactions at DMV Selects. DMV currently has 56 DMV Select partners throughout the state.
