  1. What is the legal name of a carrier?
    The legal name of a carrier is the full business name. Following are some examples:

    • Individual with Trade Name
      John Smith, t/a Smith Trucking
    • Partnership
      Fred Anderson & Peter Harris
    • Corporation
      Jefferson Limousine Service, Inc.
    • Limited Liability Company
      Johnson Brothers, LLC
    • Limited Partnership
      Franklin’s Courier Service, LP

  2. What is the legal address of a carrier?
    The legal address is where the business is actually located (street address).
