DMV 2 Go Returns for Service at the Spotsylvania Government Center
All DMV Services Available through Mobile Office
RICHMOND - The Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) mobile customer service center, called DMV 2 Go, will visit the Spotsylvania Government Center at 9104 Courthouse Road on Monday, July 29, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The DMV office on wheels provides all DMV services.
In recognition of its partnership with the county to provide quarterly mobile service at this location, DMV will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11:00 a.m. Local legislators and other dignitaries are slated to attend.
DMV 2 Go first visited Spotsylvania in November 2012. The last visit was in April 2013. The two stops resulted in more than 75 customer transactions. "People who work at or near the government center can take care of their DMV needs upon arriving at the office, while on breaks or during lunch time," said DMV Commissioner Richard D. Holcomb. "While the closest DMV office is only about eight miles away at Southpoint Centre Boulevard, why not take advantage of DMV service when it shows up on your doorstep?"
After July 29, DMV 2 Go is next scheduled to visit the Spotsylvania Government Center on Monday, October 21.
Customers are encouraged to research and bring the required documents to complete their transactions. To determine what documents are needed, use the interactive document guide at www.dmvNOW.com.
